Meet Tricia
About Me
Hello! I am Tricia—mom to two amazing young ladies, teacher of many littles, and daughter of the King.
If we think about it, each of us carries many different hearts.
My momma’s heart aches when my girls struggle and rejoices when I see them walking with God.
My aunt’s heart treasures time with extended family and delights in the laughter and memories we build together.
My teacher’s heart longs to nurture young lives and point them to the God Who keeps every promise.
And my woman’s heart feels deeply for my sisters in Christ who are weighed down by the cares of this world. I want to walk beside them and watch God capture their hearts and hold them close.
I write out of my own journey—a journey walked with my heavenly Father beside me, and often carrying me, through every season. Along the way, I have come to know the realities of:
• growing up surrounded by family who love God
• working in a demanding secular environment
• living alongside someone who battles depression
• longing for years to hold a child of my own
• managing daily life with a chronic condition
• rejoicing in the miracle of adoption
• surviving marital abandonment and unwanted divorce
• juggling the weight of single parenthood
• caring for aging and ailing parents
• leaning on the support of a loving family and faithful church
• weeping bitter tears in the dark
• and marveling at the faithfulness of the One Who knows me best and loves me most
Those of us who belong to Christ serve an amazing God—One Who holds our hearts in His hands and entrusts us with the privilege of influencing the hearts of others.
